Culiacán, Sinaloa, January 9, 2023.- The families of at least a dozen alleged hitmen who were killed by elements of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) during the operation to capture Ovidio Guzmán López, will receive support from the mother of "El Ratón".

At least 10 men, who wore military-style clothing and tactical equipment, were already identified by the authorities and in life responded to the names of Juan Alberto, Jesús N, José Antonio R, Eduardo B, Andry Roberto, Adrián Alonso, Raúl, Mauricio Jesús S, Rey Miguel L. and Jesús Antonio B.

The deceased presumably belonged to a criminal cell of the Sinaloa Cartel that went to try to prevent the capture of Joaquín's son "El Chapo" Guzmán.

It is worth mentioning that among the fallen hitmen was a 14-year-old teenager, identified as Juan Alberto, originally from the town of Paredones.

According to local reports, Griselda López Pérez, former partner of "El Chapo" and Ovid's mother, assumed most of the funeral expenses of the cell that faced the authorities and tried to prevent the arrest.
